By the end of the course the participants will be:
- Able to survey areas for potentially flammable or toxic gases using the detection equipment available including confined spaces.
- Able to survey areas and verify suitable oxygen levels.
- Aware of the terminologies, capabilities, and limitations of flammable gas test equipment.
- Able to appreciate the requirements of PTW procedures and specified requirements related to gas testing.
- Aware of hazards, properties, and behaviors of some gases that may be present in oil/ gas facilities.
